A Nepali born in Lalitpur, a graduate of Master of Arts in Tribhuvan University. She is a publisher, author, and media owner, as well as the director of Nepal Republic Media Pvt. Ltd., a publication house of Nagarik Nepali Daily, Republica English Daily, Shukrabar Nepali Weekly, Pariwar monthly magazine, and The New York Times in association with Republica.
Apart from being the President of the Nepal-Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NPCCI), she also holds some of the top and most important posts in many associations involving business, trade, and investment in Nepal. Some of which are the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal (FWEAN) as its Senior Vice President, SAARC CCI and Nepal Chambers of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) as a life member and executive committee member that promote bilateral economic activities between Nepal and Australia (NACCI), Brazil, and India (NBCC,) and People Welfare Medical Concern Centre till date as its chairperson.
