Message from President

Friends of NPCCI, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Namaskar and Mabuhay!

As we begin the new year 2023, let us be reminded of the challenges we have faced in the past years. The covid 19 global pandemic, the impacts of the Ukraine crisis, and the economic decline. These are the greatest concerns of all top leaders around the world today. And, until the covid is not fully eradicated and the war is not stopped, the effects will continue and challenge all of us, yet creates hope for a rapid full economic recovery.

We, at NPCCI, are not without hope. We have our episodes of ups and downs too, but we never quit, instead, we toughen ourselves against these challenges and continue to work and perceiver in order to achieve our greatest desire and goal, and objectives and that is to create a strong, solid and established bridge of opportunities between Nepal and Philippines.

As leaders of our chamber, we are facing problems on a day-to-day basis and we find solutions to these problems. We never stop, and we lead our people for a better and brighter future; that is our ultimate role in the business community.

Before the pandemic began, NPCCI was starting to be recognized as one of the supports of the business communities that promotes and connects businesses between Nepal and the Philippines. The first business delegation of NPCCI in Manila FAME in 2015 was an inspiring example as well as the series of bazaar showcasing Filipino products in Nepal, movie event show, fundraising activities, the material distribution to schools, and the collaboration or teaming up events with other member organization, we all have these busy activities, and all these serves as an inspiration and driving force for all of us to continue and serve.

With our Annual General Assembly months away from now, I believe the time is perfect to think about the future of our Chamber. Since the founding of our chamber in 2015, the chamber has been dedicated to making our community a destination that has everything of Nepal and the Philippines—trade, investment, tourism, and education business, while diligently serving all our stakeholders. Therefore, with full confidence, I would like to invite and welcome each and every one of you to come and visit and join us at this event. Together, let us revere, relive and reunite!

To our members, we thank you for your continued support, which you so graciously give. To businesses seeking a new venture, we invite you to come and join us and we will help you promote and support your business!

And to our officers and executive board of directors who remain and painstakingly work, I commend you for your dedication, your undying support and your resiliency made our NPCCI survive during this difficult time. Indeed, these past two years have been very hard and excruciatingly painful for all of us. There is also this economic decline that is posed upon us but I firmly believe that none of these trials or extra challenges can hinder us if we are together.  Together, we will survive and thrive-no matter what comes our way.

The world will recover, we will all recover, and each and every one of you is an essential part of our work success. So, please come and be part of our chamber.

Thank you very much. Dhrai dhrai dhan'yavda! Maraming salamat po!

Very truly yours,

Sincerely,

SHOVA GYAWALI
President
