1. 1. Hon. Suraj Vaidya, Head of Delegation

Hon. Suraj Vaidya is the Consul General of the Consulate of the Republic of the Philippines in Nepal as well as a top businessman in the country. He is the President of Vaidya’s Organization of Industries and Trading Houses (VOITH), which is one of the most dynamic business houses in Nepal and is dedicated to integrity, excellence and leadership. It represents a wide range of integrated trading houses, industrial enterprises, services, construction activities and educational academies.

VOITH is committed to the development of the country in its entirety and, therefore, supports those business activities that help shape the future of Nepal. The organisation has been given priority to industries that contribute greatly to the social upliftment of the Nepali people. VOITH’s is labour intensive, advocates in raising the living standard of Nepal's poorest people, whom mostly are farmers.

The VOITH organisation as of today employs more than 7,000 people.

1. 2. Madan Lal Joshi, Nepal Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry Advisor & Businessman

Mr. Madan, is one of the most successful businessman in Nepal. He is the Managing Director of Furniture Land Store (P) Ltd. that has showrooms in major cities in Nepal. Furniture Land Store (P) Ltd. imports wide selection of tables, sofas, home decors, seating and office solutions from many countries in Asia.

1. 3. Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal, Nepalese Politician

Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal is a Nepalese politician and Peace activist. He is the President of the Nepal Family Party. He served as Member of the Constituent Assembly and Parliament of Nepal from 2008 to 2012. He served as Minister for Co-operatives and Poverty Alleviation, Government of Nepal during 2012-2013. Hon. Dhakal is recently re-elected in the Parliament for his 2^nd term. He is also the Convener of South Asia Peace Initiative (SAPI).

1. 4. Blessie Gadon Dhakal- Senior Vice President, Nepal Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Mrs. Blessie migrated to Nepal sixteen years ago upon her marriage. She graduated from the University of Zamboanga, Philippines with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Accounting. She is the CEO and Founder President of the prominent NGOs called WFWP-Nepal and Nepalese-Filipino Association in Nepal, which focuses in building school project in remote area of Nepal to uplift the education standard of women and children. She established a local company for more than a decade, which caters Philippine products in Nepalese market such as Splash Corp. Products and Megasoft Hygienic Products, Inc. She is married with member of the parliament Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal, who has been serving 2 terms at the parliament of Nepal since 2008 till the present and also served as Cabinet Minister of the Government of Nepal in 2012-2013.

1. 5. Salvacion Pado Shakya- Junior Vice President, Nepal Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Mrs. Salvacion was born and raised in Manila. Formerly, a labour union activist, she is the Project Director and Co-founder of Quest Volunteer Travels & Tours (P) Ltd. It is a volun-tourism company committed towards promoting and facilitating travel with purpose in Nepal. Quest Volunteer Travels hosted thousands of International volunteer travellers’ and adventure seeker all over the world.

1. 6. Luzviminda Paluyo-Thapa- Secretary, Nepal Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Mrs. Luzviminda earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Foreign Service Major in International Trade at Lyceum of the Philippine in Manila. She is the current Secretary of the Filipino Community in Nepal (FCN) as well as the Managing Director of Merge International Nepal-Philippines Education Consultancy (P) Ltd. in Kathmandu. Merge International offers services such as, counselling and language training, and focused on promoting Philippine Education.

1. 7. Darlene Enrile Bania- Treasurer, Nepal Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Mrs. Darlene is the Executive Director of Associated Enterprises. Associated Enterprises was established in the year 1967, which promotes and specialises in importing wide range of products particularly highly graded generators, automotive products, laboratory chemicals & equipments, safely and scientific test tool, test and measurement and educational equipments.

1. Corporate Profile of the Philippine Trading House

The company named Philippine-Himalayas House Pvt. Ltd. (PHH) was also initiated by Hon. Suraj Vaidya following the inauguration of the Nepal-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Main objective of the PHH is to promote industry brand of the Philippines, (products and services including talents of the Filipinos) in Nepal.
